Prague was definitely another location for the books. We arrived from Budapest in the afternoon and headed to our adorably antique Airbnb not too far from the river. We decided to do the famous Pub Crawl the night of our arrival, and it was pretty rad to say the least. The next few days, we crossed the Charles Bridge and hit up the castle, the astronomical clock, St. Vitus Cathedral, and the John Lennon Wall. I stumbled upon a neat little Warhol gallery and spent a bit of time in there. I can honestly say that the best views of my life were seen in Prague - it may even have Budapest beat.
Afterwards, I bid goodbye to my faithful travel group and headed off to meet my high school bud, Brooks, who was spending the weekend with some friends in Amsterdam. Amsterdam was very different than I was expecting - I was told that it was dirty and entirely too city-like. Perhaps the areas I stayed in were the nicer ones, but whatever the reason, I had a phenomenal time. The canals were beautiful, the bars were fun and lively, and the city life was awesome. We closed the weekend with a rad music festival featuring the Chainsmokers, David Guetta, and Alesso, and then it was back to Rome for me!
Paris and Northern Italy are up next!
